Seminaarinmäki

KOAS Seminaarinmäki started operation as a student home in the late 2018. As for its location, the housing site is great: the nearest student restaurant is a stone’s throw away, the city centre at 5 minutes’ distance and all university buildings within 2 kilometres. Equipment in the activity room includes: kitchen, table football game, board games and a 55-inch TV. Of course, all this can be used free of charge! There is also a spacious sauna in the building and sauna time slots can be easily booked via the KOAS Booking system.
The tenant committee of Seminaarinmäki operates actively organising various activities for the residents, including board game nights, evening gatherings and other parties. We encourage the residents to give suggestions and ideas, for example, via Facebook.

The goal of the tenant committee is to make each resident feel at home, not in a shabby student flat. All residents can influence this by participating in tenant committee meetings and letting their voices be heard.
